An event organised by FREDA. The FREDA autumn cinema programme is more than just film. Network with like-minded people and discuss climate and LGBTQIA+ with us. Admission free. Registration required.

The parents (Bud Cort and Mink Stole) of high school kid Megan (Natasha Lyonne) are worried: their daughter has preferences and behaviours that don't conform to heteronormativity! She is to be ‘rescued’ by being sent to the ‘True Directions’ re-education camp, where teenagers are supposed to find their way to heterosexuality in a five-stage programme. Megan meets the rebellious Graham (Clea DuVall) there - and soon becomes a rebel herself...
