Flushed Away

Roddy St. James—a pampered pet rat left behind in his luxurious Kensington home while his human family is on vacation—is unceremoniously flushed down the toilet by a rival and ends up in London's underground. There, he meets Rita, a fearless rat who agrees to help him get back home. Despite initial skepticism, a romance blossoms across class lines; first, however, they must defeat the villainous Toad, who plans to wipe out the rodent population and claim the underworld for his own offspring—sharp-toothed tadpoles. "Flushed Away" gleefully draws on genre tropes and clichés, transforming them into a fast-paced, dialogue-rich action comedy packed with slapstick humor.
