A creative trio. Pasolini’s short film masterpiece *La ricotta* is set on the location of a biblical film, where an impoverished extra desperately tries to secure food for his family; the sarcastic blend of absurdity and tragedy echoes Dabernig’s own cinematic universe. Accompanying it are two films by key collaborators of Dabernig: Christian Giesser—a kindred spirit and cinematographer since 1998—has crafted *Auto Metzker Story*, a captivating documentary about the legendary car scrapyard and spare parts business in Vösendorf. Sound designer Michael Palm is an established filmmaker in his own right: *Sea Concrete Human* presents desolate, uninhabited landscapes as "documentary footage" from a post-apocalyptic era, narrated by a tinny computer voice. An enigmatic miniature filled with subtle, underlying humor. (C.H.)
