The first three program items present Dabernig’s projects from other artistic disciplines: a reading from one of his early "transcription projects," narrated slides addressing the follies of modern museum architecture (interwoven with anecdotes from work and holidays), and a presentation of his long-standing work with panoramic photography. Accompanying these are three characteristically ambiguous films: the swimming excursion *River Plate* with its literal body parts; the art-collection contemplation *Gertrud & Tiederich*; and—equally liturgical, yet entirely different—a peculiar funeral ceremony in his latest film, *Lacrimosa*. Artworks emerging from the austere chamber of existentialism. (C.H.)
