Spanning nearly two decades of Larcher’s perspective on the world, this first film program ranges from a fifteen-minute single take of a passing thunderstorm over New York’s Upper Bay to a micro-camera journey through the bark of a tree. *Points Lines Planes* documents the weather-driven transformation of an abandoned harbor area; *#postalps* portrays the alpine adventure landscape as an anti-idyll shaped by climate change; *Collapsing Mies* causes Modernist pavilions to collapse within a rotating image; and *Empty Rooms* traverses the "non-places" of functionalist architecture. As a final chord, *Das große Baumstück* dives into the microcosm of a single tree crown, where roots, fungi, and humus act as creators of worlds in the darkness. (E.F.)
