The unassuming Seymour works as a temp in a flower shop. One day he comes across a strange carnivorous plant. He decides to raise it, but soon the usual insects are no longer enough for the plant and it demands human blood. He always finds supplies in his neighbourhood, but the mysterious disappearance of the humans does not go unnoticed for long.
