Frieda is on the verge of fulfilling her dream: if she manages to finish her dissertation by the end of the summer, a job offer at the University of Vienna awaits her. But then her grandmother passes away, and Frieda returns to her hometown in rural Lower Austria. There, she must confront her past—and her parents’ current expectations.
