Erinnerungen an ein verlorenes Land

After the annexation by Hitler's Germany, over 40 villages are resettled in a region in the Waldviertel. In their place, a military training area is created which is still in use today. The film shows the history of the region, historical images and contemporary impressions. Constantin Wulff: ‘It is the desire to remember that is palpable; it is the numerous, colourful depictions of the past that drive the film forward.’
