Election
Tracy Flick is tireless, organized, and determined to become student council president at her high school. Her teacher, Jim McAllister, however, sees her less as a role model and more as a nuisance. Driven by a mixture of moral zeal and wounded pride, he decides to sabotage her election—setting in motion a chain of irreversible intrigues… This biting comedy is far more than just a school farce. With dry humor, the film paints a precise picture of American success culture, where ambition becomes obsession and democratic ideals are surprisingly easily undermined. Thus, amidst campaign posters, teachers' lounges, and suburban homes, a comical yet thought-provoking miniature of political mechanics unfolds.
