Ein toller Bluff

Inspector Campana has a problem: to bring down a gang of drug dealers, he infiltrates them, posing as the brother of a murdered gang member. However, this brother has a family. To keep up appearances, the bachelor Campana has to find a stand-in family and decides on the widow of a deceased colleague. As the investigation progresses, complications soon arise among both the police and the criminals. Michel Constantin (known as ‘Scarface’), the eternally blonde Mireille Darc and the future Bond villain Michael Lonsdale provide suspense and humour under the direction of crime film specialist Georges Lautner, who, over his fifty-year career, has worked with the crème de la crème of French crime film actors.
