Ein Talent fürs Morden
A mysterious young man from a New York publishing house travels to Switzerland to persuade a celebrated author to write one last novel featuring Tom Ripley.
In 1995, acclaimed crime writer Patricia Highsmith has retreated to her chalet in the Swiss Alps. Long weary of the world, she surrounds herself with nothing but books and her beloved collection of antique weapons. Her self-imposed isolation comes to an abrupt end when young editor Edward appears on her doorstep. Sent by her publisher, he is tasked with persuading the fiercely independent American to write one final novel featuring her most famous creation, the con artist and murderer Tom Ripley. Highsmith refuses, unless Edward agrees to help her devise the perfect murder. As reality and fiction begin to blur, a visit to the reclusive author turns into a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
