Ein Herz und eine Krone (Roman Holiday)

On a state visit to Rome, the young Princess Anne is fed up with the constant duty of dignified representation. She sneaks off to get to know the "Eternal City" and real life.

In the evening, completely exhausted, she falls asleep amidst ancient ruins. There she is picked up by the attractive journalist Joe Bradley, who has no idea who is lying in front of him and drags her to his flat to sober up. When he wakes up the next morning and the princess' press conference is cancelled, it dawns on him what kind of bird he has caught...
