Easy Rider

“Lost in America”: After a drug deal, two bikers set off for New Orleans, passing hippies, small towns and a hard-drinking lawyer. The birth of New Hollywood – independently produced, driven by rock music and a sense of new beginnings. Yet the further the journey takes them, the clearer the gulf becomes between the longing for freedom and the reality of a country that knows little what to do with that freedom.
