It’s raining men. They come from 89 countries and are aboard a cruise ship sailing along the eastern coast of Spain: sun, sea, bare skin, and plenty of testosterone. The countdown is on for seven days of searching for love, happiness, and eternal youth—the promise of a dream cruise for gay men. Months in advance, passengers look forward to this journey. They train their bodies, equip themselves with push-up swimwear, and pack their suitcases with sexy outfits and glamorous costumes. For the first time, a film crew was allowed to accompany Europe’s only gay cruise in the Mediterranean and to step inside the microcosm on board.
