Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stépanian thought so too. That's why she turned her gaze upwards. With the help of two doppelgangers, she explores the possibilities of a human future in space. They talk to experts from a wide range of backgrounds about a society free from binary power structures and the exploitation of the home planet.
DOPPELGÄNGERS³ is an energetic, humorous hybrid film of role play, experiment and interviews that imagines a glittering mosaic of queer, ecofeminist coexistence in the cosmos. The appropriation of the extraterrestrial can also take place far away from imperialism and commerce à la Musk, Bezos and co.
