Direktøren for det hele (THE BOSS OF IT ALL)

An IT company run by an invisible boss—and an actor tasked with embodying this fictional authority. Using the “Automavision” camera system, von Trier deliberately subverts every conventional cinematic convention and leaves certain aesthetic decisions to chance. The result: von Trier’s arguably driest satire—a film about faceless power—and about systems in which no one wants to take responsibility.
