Fourteen-year-old Sun has successfully published a book—inspired by a story her late grandfather once told her: the almost unbelievable legend of the boy Hadara, who was separated from his caravan during a devastating sandstorm and rescued by a group of ostriches. From then on, he grows up far from his family in the inhospitable vastness of the Sahara, accompanied only by his most loyal companion, a young desert fox.
