Die Blutgräfin

After the Blood Countess (Isabelle Huppert) awakens from her long slumber and rises from the underworld, she sets off on a wild chase through Vienna with her devoted maid (Birgit Minichmayr). In search of the red elixir of life and the history of her ancestors, time is of the essence: a mysterious book threatens the vampire realm should it fall into the hands of its enemies. Hot on their heels are the vegetarian nephew (Thomas Schubert), his psychotherapist (Lars Eidinger), two vampirologists (André Jung and Marco Lorenzini), a police inspector (Karl Markovics), and other colorful characters (such as Tom Neuwirth aka Conchita Wurst) in this fast-paced and humorous vampire tale.
