One of the most refreshing directorial debuts of recent years: even the beginning - a woman is sucked into her own living room couch and disappears - makes it clear that director and writer Martha Mechow tells her story with unconventional means. The missing woman is the mother of Flippa and Furia, two sisters who meet again after a long time in Sardinia, where Furia has joined a women's commune that tries to subvert social norms and realise identities and relationships far removed from convention ... In terms of form and content, this claim is also reflected in the film, which, however, surprises more and more from minute to minute with unexpected ease, captivates and simply makes you very, very happy.
