Des Teufels General

Germany, December 1941—the world is in the midst of war. German cities are exposed to countless air raids by enemy squadrons, and it is becoming increasingly clear that whoever holds air superiority will win the war. The SS attempts, using every means of coercion, to win over the popular Luftwaffe General Harras—a man who had committed himself to Hitler’s Wehrmacht out of a sheer obsession with flying—to their cause. Harras comes to realize his own complicity in a brutal war and in acts of inhumanity; he atones for his failure by sacrificing his life to save a friend from the SS.
