Der Traum (DRØMMEN)

Denmark, 1969. Young Frits watches a news report on Martin Luther King on television and hears his ‘I have a dream…’ speech. The injustices denounced by King are also reflected in Frits’s everyday school life when he is confronted by the headteacher. When a violent incident is about to be swept under the carpet, Frits fights against this injustice. This earned thunderous applause from the 2006 Children’s Jury in Berlin.
