Der perfekte Schein – Der Fall Bojarski

Jan Bojarski (Reda Kateb) is a young Polish engineer who flees to France during the war. There, he uses his technical skills to produce fake identification documents during the German occupation. After the war ends, however, he finds himself without an official identity—and thus without the means to patent his numerous inventions. Instead of fame and recognition, a life full of disappointment and odd jobs awaits him, until a gangster offers him the chance to put his talent to work counterfeiting banknotes.
