Der Klang der Stradivari (Les musiciens)
Four genuine Stradivaris, four exceptional musicians, and just one week before the concert: Grégory Magne turns this setup into an elegant French comedy about big egos, old wounds, a passion for music, and the difficult art of finding the right note, both in life and on stage.
Astrid is on the verge of making musical history and fulfilling her late father's dream: bringing four world-famous Stradivaris together for the first time for a single concert. But harmony ends with the precious instruments. The soloists hired for the project, Lise, George, Peter, and Apolline, may be virtuosos on their instruments, but they have little control over their emotions. During rehearsals at the secluded château, egos, old rivalries, and artistic differences inevitably collide. To prevent the once-in-a-lifetime project from falling apart, Astrid turns to the eccentric composer Charlie Beaumont for help. Now it is up to him to transform four fiercely independent musicians into a quartet and bring the incomparable sound of the Stradivaris to life.
