Dead Ringers (Die Unzertrennlichen)
Twin brothers who run a successful gynaecology practice together are plunged into a self-destructive identity crisis over their relationship with an actress. More interested in the psychological depths of its story than in overt horror effects, this psychological thriller traces the progression of a codependent relationship to its inevitable culmination in both mental and physical destruction. Based on a real case that took place in New York in 1975, the film features a towering performance by Jeremy Irons in the dual role of the two very different brothers.
