How do you live knowing that the world around you is slowly fading away? "Das letzte Bild" (The Last Image) follows people who have lost their sight. Amidst memories of what they once saw, as well as hopes and fears, they refuse to give up on the pursuit of happiness. Featured in our program on the art of image-making, the film serves as a reminder that the most powerful images are sometimes the ones that cannot be seen.
