Wai-Tung (Winston Chao) and Simon (Mitchell Lichtenstein) live as a gay couple in New York. Under pressure from his unsuspecting parents, who want nothing more than a daughter-in-law and grandchildren, Wai-Tung makes an impossible decision: he marries Wei-Wei (May Chin), a close friend. She needs a Green Card to secure residency, and he needs a plausible cover story to get through his parents’ visit without having to come out.
