Cuerpo Celeste

Summer, 1990: After 17 years of dictatorship, Chile experiences the return of democracy. In a coastal town near the Atacama Desert, 15-year-old Celeste spends New Year’s vacation with family and friends on the beach. Just as the world seems full of joy and hope for a new future, a tragic event shatters the idyllic atmosphere and plunges her mother into a deep crisis.

Almost a year later, Celeste returns to the same place, only to find that nothing is as it once was. In a world thrown off balance, she must find her own path in an increasingly uncertain time.
