Civil War (dt. Fassung)

The United States of America is now everything, just no longer united. The country is deeply divided and a civil war has broken out. Democracy and the constitution seem to be long-gone dreams, while in Washington D.C. the President (Nick Offerman) has now started his third term in the White House. As supreme commander of the forces that remain on his side, he wages war against Texas and California and attacks rebellious Americans with brutal air strikes. Despite all of the president's military efforts, the two states cannot be brought down - quite the opposite. As Independence Day approaches, California and Texas troops move closer to Washington. To ensure that the truth is not lost during the war, a few journalists (including Kirsten Dunst) continue to do their job conscientiously and report from the trouble spots at great risk to their lives.
