After a car accident, a young woman can no longer connect with the world of the living. Shopping malls, churches, and an abandoned amusement park become liminal spaces of existential alienation—a low-budget gem and a precursor to midnight cinema.

Adorned only with a little dark makeup around the eyes and smeared lipstick, these dead figures show no visible signs of how they died—they all appear unscathed, even quite elegantly dressed, as they twirl in a dance at an old swimming pool; a bit of time-lapse, and the game of 'telephone' begins."
