Bread and Salt

Tymek, a budding pianist from Warsaw, returns to his hometown, a small town in the Polish province, for the holidays. Together with his brother and his brother's friends, the young student spends a lot of time in a kebab shop, which is a meeting place for the local youth. However, the locals increasingly clash with the staff. Latent racism fuels the smouldering conflict until the situation finally escalates. (Ania Gleich, Crossing Europe)
