The three music students, Kathrin, Silvio, and Pierre, are always short on cash. This time, they’re even forced to pawn their instruments—but at least the bailiff lets them keep practicing with them in his warehouse. There they meet Duval, a composer who is also penniless and dreams of a big revue… But before that dream comes true, there are still many uncertainties to be untangled and heartbreaks to be healed. For the second time alongside Caterina Valente, who conveys a similar energy and playful approach to music, Peter Alexander truly blossoms. With evergreens like “Komm ein bisschen mit nach Italien” or “Steig in das Traumboot der Liebe,” this colorful comedy also caters to its audience’s longing for the Mediterranean.
