Bog nece pomoci (God Will Not Help)

At the beginning of the 20th century, a woman arrives in a barren mountainous region of Croatia. Teresa, having travelled from Chile, carries her husband Marko’s remains with her to bury him in his home village. Her arrival disrupts the established order: in Marko’s strictly patriarchal family of shepherds, the mere presence of this stranger calls existing power structures into question. And when Teresa sees her late husband in a vision, this is the first sign of a mystical force that soon comes to set the tone in this historical film of a different kind.
