Two time periods and two perspectives intertwine to create a multi-layered interplay between reality and fiction: After her mother’s death, successful commercial director Elsa throws herself into her work, refusing to allow herself time to grieve. In another time, in the same city, the successful author and director Raúl Durán, who is battling a long creative crisis, is working on his new book—and writing the very story that tells Elsa’s life.
