Beni’s Noise
Béni’s mother tunes out the noise of everyday life, while her ten-year-old child collects it: birdsong, the hum of high-voltage power lines, the sound of their own heartbeat. Shot on analogue film, Valérie Pelet’s miniature explores perception and transience through a web of sounds and images.
