Yair Kaplan, a yeshiva student, dares to do something promising and risky: he opens a computer shop in the centre of Geula, an ultra-Orthodox enclave in Jerusalem. He realises that this is dangerous. Although - or because - his business is flourishing, it is a thorn in the side of the dominant ‘Geula Committee’ with its fundamentalist rules and rejection of a contemporary lifestyle. The consequences of this are hostility, perfidious insinuations, hatred and increasingly rampant violence. In addition, Yair's family life, who is unbending in defence of his company, is dangerously drawn into the events. An uncomfortably drastic look at religious extremism, inspired by a true case.
