Aspiring documentary filmmaker Tess Moore hopes to make a fresh start in Detroit. Late one rainy night, a taxi drops her off at her Airbnb in the eerie Brightmoor neighborhood. Her shock is even greater when she discovers that the house has already been rented to a man her age through another website. The seemingly friendly Keith Toshko offers to share the accommodation with her for the night, and after some hesitation, Tess reluctantly agrees. A decision she will soon come to regret.
