When construction equipment suddenly appears in front of her house and barn near the sea on the Sardinian coast, Anna is bewildered. A luxury hotel complex is planned for her remote piece of land, which once belonged to her late father. The young shepherdess and farmer, who retreated to her homeland after a failed marriage in Milan to produce cheese for the local market with a small herd of goats, begins a seemingly hopeless fight for her livelihood and the protection of nature.
