Alpis (Alps)

As a group called "Alpis", four people offer to replace their deceased loved ones for a fee. The nurse Monte Rosa takes the place of a 16-year-old tennis player whom she had grown fond of before her death. The lines of dialogue and performances rehearsed for the acted scenarios of intimacy give the impression of emotional control on both sides. However, distance and intimacy soon become more intertwined than planned. The change between Monte Rosa's own self and the role leaves its mark, as does the smouldering conflict within the "Alpis".
