Wels, in the summer of 1980, a hot weekend, seemingly paralysing stagnation. The - not always entirely serious - claims of revolt, breakout, departure and the not always pleasant awakening of what it would mean to grow up.

‘In ‘From tomorrow everything will change’, it's not entirely clear from the title alone what role audacity or rather naivety plays in the rebellion.....I must have been 15 at the time, and of course I knew almost all of the young people who were ostentatiously bored by and around Wels in the film. In the jargon of the time, I really liked the fact that they were so cool up there on the screen. And from today's perspective, I liked the fact that it was possible to talk about people like me in the cinema.’
Claus Philipp

‘Absolutely worth seeing.’ Rudolf John, KURIER

‘A small-town afternoon in Wels dabbed together visually and in dialogue. Personally, these stories from Wels seemed to me to be the most important contribution of all, because it is able to do what German-language film has never been able to do before: create tender punchlines.’
Fritz Walden, ARBEITERZEITUNG
