A REAL PAIN

Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin play mismatched cousins united by their love for the recently deceased Babba. They set off to Poland on a guided group trip to explore the country of their origins and get close to her. Their relationship with each other and their family becomes a bittersweet, subtly humorous story. The young men and the travelling group face up to the reality of the Holocaust as children and grandchildren: a difficult but necessary undertaking, as our own family history determines all of our lives far more and beyond the visible.
