A media voz (In a Whisper)

Patricia and Heidi, friends since childhood, left their homeland of Cuba after graduating from the EICTV. One went to Switzerland, the other settled in Spain. Both have been documenting their lives on film, independently of one another. At the age of 40, they get back in touch – through video letters. A MEDIA VOZ (IN A WHISPER) is their correspondence, skilfully edited into a chronological yet free-flowing whole. A sensitive portrait of uprooting, motherhood, a love of film, friendship and freedom – and nostalgia for a country that no longer exists in that form.
