KLIMA & UMWELT FILMFESTIVAL

For the thirteenth time, Cinema Paradiso Baden, the City of Baden, and the Energy and Environment Agency of Lower Austria (eNu) present the KLIMA & UMWELT FILMFESTIVAL BADEN.

The festival in numbers: 27 events over 8 days. Seven films followed by discussions with experts, four Austrian premieres, four Lower Austrian premieres, three live acts, a short film competition, and special events including Cinema Breakfast, Cinema Kids, and Cinema School.

Baden is international, a place for exchange and connection, and closely attuned to the issues of our time. We can clearly feel the effects of global warming: extreme heat as early as June, prolonged periods of drought, and intense local rainfall. All of this is happening here in Austria, too.

And yet, the festival remains optimistic in its outlook: with a carefully curated selection of films and inspiring experts, we want to encourage audiences to take action while using powerful images to show why protecting our world is worth the effort.
