Život je čudo
Bosnia 1992: Luka, a Serbian civil engineer from Belgrade, has settled down with his wife, the opera singer Jadranka, and their son Miloš in the middle of nowhere. He has been commissioned to build the railway that will transform the region into a tourist centre. Immersed in his work, he fails to notice the signs of the approaching war. When the conflict breaks out, Luka's life is turned upside down: his wife leaves him, his son is sent to the front and is taken prisoner, while Luka is assigned by the army to guard Sabaha, a Muslim hostage ... The "Fellini of the Balkans" once again proves his artistic mastery: a comedy with burlesque undertones that increasingly turns out to be a tragedy and at the same time celebrates life in all its colours.
