Drama about the rapprochement between two women from different social backgrounds.

Isabell's (Nina Hoss) life is thrown into disarray when she realizes that her elderly parents can no longer cope on their own. While she desperately searches for care staff, she commutes between Berlin and her parents' weekend house, which was once built by her father in the modernist style. In this tense situation, Isabell keeps bumping into the enigmatic Anja (Saskia Rosendahl), a single mother struggling with her own challenges. As Anja and her young daughter Greta increasingly enter Isabell's life, an unexpected bond develops between the two women. At the same time, Isabell begins to doubt the life she previously thought was safe and familiar. Her marriage to Philippe (Vincent Macaigne) begins to show cracks, and the feeling of losing control over her life grows ever stronger ... Ina Weisse's new film focuses on the rapprochement between two women from different social backgrounds and the challenges of parents growing older. The director places particular emphasis on the nuances and subtleties of interpersonal relationships.
