Wuthering Hearts

Wuthering Hearts is a journey through a cornucopia of emotions. It starts with an intimate moment between two women in an Iranian movie theater after the revolution, in which love and art become one. In the desert, a group rebels against social norms with their own choreography of the traditional pericón dance. Patriarchal structures awaken a young woman’s urge to take control of her own life. The brutal heat of Athens lets the longing of two men shift between desire and escape, and a love story in the Philippines turns into a thriller. (mm)
