After fleeing to England in 1941, Otto and Marie Neurath began working with renowned documentary filmmaker Paul Rotha, who adapted the Isotype visual language for cinema. Rotha and the Neuraths created around 15 films in the service of war education and peace planning. The short film A Few Ounces a Day (1941) called for the collection of waste, while World of Plenty (1943) looked to the future, denounced social inequality and promoted economic planning and social progress.
