Wilhelm Tell

In the 14th century, in the final days of the Holy Roman Empire, as European nations fight fiercely for supremacy and ambitious Austrians seeking more land invade Switzerland, William Tell (Claes Bang), a formerly peaceful hunter, finds himself forced into action when his family and homeland are threatened by the oppressive Austrian King Albrecht (Ben Kingsley) and his ruthless warlords. At the head of his countrymen, Tell begins a courageous rebellion to defend their freedom and stand up to the tyrannical powers that seek to subjugate them.
