Masha, a Belarusian model, dreams of a career in China. Misha works in a Minsk morgue and brings the dead to life in his oil paintings. The two outsiders feel an unusual attraction to each other and roam together through the warm summer nights. Misha opens up an unknown world to Masha, challenging her sense of beauty and mortality.
