Marie Luise Lehner is a filmmaker, author and musician in the FLINTA punk band ‘Schapka’. With her extraordinary, queer-feminist short films, she constantly brings new, fresh ideas to the screen and is already a well-known name in the Austrian film scene.

Gartenbaukino is therefore dedicating a showcase to her, consisting of five of her short films released to date, which you can find out more about in a Q&A with the director afterwards.

To round off the evening, Schapka will give a live concert in the cinema foyer.
