Anna (Anna Suk) works at a drama school where she is regularly reminded of who she once wanted to be: an actress. But now she wants to study law and is working hard for her independence. When her brother turns up with a black eye, Anna increasingly stumbles somewhere between family responsibility and autonomy. A film about unconventional coming of age.

WER WIR EINMAL SEIN WOLLTEN is Özgür Anil's first feature film, with which he also completed his studies at the Vienna Film Academy. The work could be called an unusual coming-of-age film - unusual because it is told so calmly and independently that it almost comes across as a metaphor. (Diagonale)
